eGP Registration Process in Bangladesh

eGP stands for  Electronic Government Procurement. eGP Portal is the central digital platform of Bangladesh Government to process all the public procurement electronically.  To participate in eGP procurement opportunities, you need to register first as a tenderer. Following is step-by-step procedures:

1) Before registration, ensure you have the required documents. For Companies/Organizations following documents will be:

i) Updated Trade License,
ii) TIN Certificate,
iii) VAT Registration Certificate,
iv) Passport Size Photo of the Authorized Admin,
v) Company Memorandum & Articles of Association (for Limited. companies),
vi) Partnership Deed (for partnership firms)
vii) NID or Passport of authorized signatory
viii)  e-GP Registration Fee Payment Slip
 

2) Now go to new user registration page which is found at https://www.eprocure.gov.bd/NewUserRegistrationLoginDetails.jsp . You may also access this page by clicking on the 'New User Registration' button on the home page of eGP portal as shown below:


3) Fill-up the above form with all necessary information and submit the form. Then you will get the following message:


4)  Upon submission, the e-GP system will send you an email verification message to the e-mail ID you have specified. Please check your e-mail and follow the instructions given in that message. This step must be completed with 72 hours, otherwise you need to restart the registration process. Without email verification you can not proceed to the next steps.

5) After email verification, you have to enter all the required information of your company / enterprise in the eGP portal. 

6)  Once you enter and save all the required information, payment button will be active. You can pay registration fee through any e-GP enlisted bank or online payment gateway. You may pay the registration fee in the following three ways through online.
   a) through AChallan.
   b) through payment gateway of Dutch Bangla Bank (DBBL).
   c) through Brac Bank's payment gateway.

7) Finally you need verification and approval form the Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority (BPPA). For this purpose,  you have to photocopy of all mandatory documents and get those attested by a Class-I Government Official and send to BPPA for physical verification through mail post or courier. Once the final submission is done, the tenderer will get the following message:

 

8) After verifying the documents and online information submitted by the tenderer, the e-GP User Registration Desk at BPPA will decide whether to approve or reject the application. The tenderer will receive an automated email notification confirming the approval or rejection.

 

Important Note:   You must complete the whole eGP Registration process within seven (7) days from the date of email verification. If you fail to do so, you need to start the Registration process again from the beginning.
